ATHLETICS/VOLLEYBALL/ BASKETBALL/CRICKET
The school emphasizes all round development of the students in all spheres of life such as in intellectuality, academics, physical education and cultural activity. The school strongly believes in the principle of “A sound mind in a sound body”. In order to accomplish this, the students are exposed to plays, games and athletics which inculcates the competitiveness and brotherhood among them. There are well-trained and experienced sports instructors to train students. Every year, the school conducts Annual Sports Meet for the students and also for the parents.
SCIENCE & ART FAIR
The spirit of enquiry and inquisitiveness is kept alive by promoting the Science and Art exhibitions every year. The students under the guidance of the teachers demonstrate various science experiments and cultural models during annual fair.
CLUBS
Apart from academics and sports, the children are provided with an environment to develop their skills of creativity through various clubs such as Maths Club, Science Club, Geography Club, Music Club, Art & Crafts Club, Sports Club, and Philately Club.
CULTURAL EVENTS
The traditional culture and customs are the gifts of our ancestors which are passed on to us from generation to generation. The school promotes all religions on par and celebrates the cultural functions.
NATIONAL DAYS’ CELEBRATIONS
The school celebrates all important national and state level days / events such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Rajyothsava Day, Environment Day, Yoga Day, Air Force Flag Day, kargill Divas, Youth Day and Swach Bharath Divas so on.
SCHOOL BAND WAGON
The school boasts of its own school band played by its own students in the entire district of Ballari. It’s the only school in the district which was trained officially by the state band wagon of the District Police.
SCOUTS, GUIDES AND NCC
Every student’s dream should be to serve his nation. In order to develop the characters of patriotism and humanity, the school provides a platform to the students to participate in the nation building through Scouts & Guides and also through National Cadet Corps streams.
