PARENT – TEACHER MEETINGS
“One needs two hands to clap”. It’s a fact that teacher cannot alone be responsible for the growth of the child, it is also the responsibility of the parents in shaping the child’s future. In order to achieve the objective of shaping the child’s future, both teachers and parents should join hands together. That’s the reason the Parent-Teacher Meetings are regularly conducted to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the child and solution to overcome the hindrances. This has helped many parents to understand their ward in a different perspective and also to understand and to handle the adolescent children.
PARENTS ORIENTATION & COUNSELLING
In the current days of nuclear families, parents’ need to understand their responsibilities and the workings of the school. Hence, parents’ orientation programs are held in the beginning of the academic year and the parents are briefed about their responsibilities and what the school expects from them. Wherever, the situation warrants, the school conducts counselling for parents by the subject experts and motivators on regular basis.
Parents’ orientation programs and parents' counselling sessions are also conducted through subject experts in the beginning of the academic year and also as and when required to remind their role in upbringing the children.
INSTRUCTIONS TO PARENTS
“To be a living example of the values taught to their children”.
a. To keep the school authorities informed any special problem, family circumstances or other relevant facts that are necessary for a proper understanding and guidance of their children.
b. Personal information should be carefully filled in by the parent at the beginning of the academic session. Change of residence/phone nos. should be notified to the school office immediately.
c. Giving presents to the staff or other demonstrations of gratitude or goodwill in their honor is not allowed. Discourage your child to bring gifts for his/her classmates.
d. Any communication (request or complaint) made by the parents must be addressed to the Principal or to the class teacher.
e. Parents are particularly expected to sign the Principal’s or teacher’s remarks and failure to do this may put their children to great inconvenience.
f. Kindly see that the child attends the school in proper prescribed uniforms.
g. Be patient with your children and encourage them.
h. Parents are requested not to ask for leave for their wards to attend weddings and other social and religious functions during the term, unless it warrants.
i. Guardians or escorts will not accompany the student’s right up to the class room.
LABS & LIBRARY
The school has well-equipped science laboratories’ for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computers. The school also has Language lab.
The school has a separate library with numerous books, periodicals and magazines on science, experiments, humanities and stories. It’s power house of knowledge.

PLAYGROUND
The school has vast playground comprising football, basketball and volleyball grounds and also athletic ground for track and field events. The annual sports meet and other activities are conducted in this vast ground.
LOGISTICS
The school is located nearly three kilometers from the town. Apart from the students from Siruguppa town, there are hundreds of students, both boys and girls, who travel from nearby villages and camps to the school. In order to facilitate the safety and security of the students, the school provides transportation facility to all the day boarders. The school boasts of well maintained buses which are diligently managed by a team and are driven by highly experienced drivers. Each bus is provided with a helper cum security who picks and drops each student from the pickup / drop points on regular basis. Safety is the utmost concern while ferrying the students.
